More about conceptualization than about drawing.
All of us learn different ways. Some learn by hearing, some by watching, some by doing. I find illustrated notes or presentations much more interesting and understandable than a PowerPoint full of text. Especially when presenting a new concept or strategy path to your team, or selling a little more complex product in B2B market. Illustrations can be drawn on paper, on digital canvas or lined to make a video, so they are very versatile to use in face-to-face meetings and on website.
CONTENT CREATION
Picture or a thousand words. You name it.
During my team entrepreneurship years while studying business, I learned a lot about social media- and content marketing. I learned about creating buyer personas and how to create content that hits that specific target audience. How to actually create content that the customer sees is useful, and wants to have more of it.
DIGITAL MARKETING
Learning by doing.
Since Fall 2016 I've studied and practiced my skills in digital marketing, and I've grown a keen interest in it. Mostly I have experience in social media marketing and e-mail marketing campaigns. I wrote my thesis on Marketing Automation Strategy, and through that I learned more about digital marketing, content marketing and automation.
POSTERS AND AD DESIGNS
Visualisation and content creation in one package.
I always loved doing crafts, like cutting out pictures from old magazines and glueing them on pretty-colored paper, making cards, posters and even scrapbooks. When I found Canva and Piktochart, I felt like it was almost the same thing, but on the computer and without a gluey mess! I could craft posters, cards and pretty much anything with Canva all day and night - and I often do that just for fun at home.
EVENT HOST
"You've got a voice that's easy to listen to"
Through forcing myself to go on stage (and being an "audience volunteer") for so many times, I've practiced my on-stage-characteristics and learned the basic skills of hosting events. I've been told I have a "voice that's easy to listen to", and that I have been thanked for successful hostings in both Finnish- and English-speaking events. For example Innovate or Die -competition in Bilbao, JAMK Team Academy Graduation Event, TeamUp! JKL 2017 Workshop Event, and countless times on performing and promoting my own projects on Team Academy's stage and public videos on social media.
